Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about importing cars from China
Sourcing
Submit an inquiry through our contact form, WhatsApp, or email. Provide the brand, model, year, quantity, and destination port. You will receive a detailed quotation within 24 hours including vehicle price, shipping cost (CIF), and estimated delivery time.
Yes. Orders of 6+ units qualify for tiered wholesale discounts. Container orders (20+ units) get the best per-unit pricing plus reduced shipping rates. Contact our sales team for a custom quote.
Yes. We have access to 50+ certified dealerships and manufacturers across China. If you need a specific model, year, or configuration not in our online inventory, send us the requirements and we will source it within 2-3 days.
Yes. We export brand-new vehicles directly from manufacturers (BYD, Geely, Chery, Tesla China, etc.) as well as certified used vehicles from our dealer network. All used vehicles undergo a 60-point inspection before shipping.
Payment
We accept T/T (telegraphic transfer), L/C (letter of credit), PayPal (for deposits under $10,000), and Western Union. T/T is the most common: 30% deposit to confirm order, 70% balance before shipment.
Yes. All payments are held in escrow and only released to suppliers after vehicle QC passes. We never ask for direct payment to personal accounts. Always verify bank details via phone before transfer.
Before shipment, you receive 50+ HD photos and a walk-around video. If the vehicle does not match the agreed spec, you can reject it and get a full refund of your deposit. After shipment, refunds are subject to warranty terms.
Shipping
Shipping time depends on the destination: Middle East 15-22 days, Southeast Asia 7-15 days, Africa 25-35 days, South America 35-45 days, Russia/CIS 20-30 days. These are port-to-port transit times after vessel departure.
RoRo (Roll-on/Roll-off) is cheaper per vehicle but limited to running vehicles. Container shipping is more expensive but offers better protection, can fit 2-4 vehicles, and allows mixed cargo. We recommend containers for luxury cars and EVs.
Yes. After vessel departure, we provide the bill of lading number and a tracking link. You can monitor the vessel position 24/7 via the shipping line (MAERSK, MSC, COSCO, or CMA CGM) website.
Yes, marine insurance is included for all shipments at 0.3% of the vehicle value. It covers total loss, damage during loading/unloading, and sea perils. Additional coverage options are available on request.
Documents
We provide all China-side documents: export license, commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin (CO), and CCC compliance certificate. For some countries, you may also need embassy legalization or apostille — we can arrange this for an additional fee.
Yes. We work with trusted customs brokers in 30+ countries. Share your destination port and we will connect you with a recommended broker. Broker fees are paid directly to them, not through us.
Import regulations vary by country. Some countries (e.g., UAE, Thailand) allow individuals to import vehicles freely, while others (e.g., Nigeria, Russia) require specific permits. We recommend checking with your local customs authority or hiring a customs broker.
After-Sales
All new vehicles come with the manufacturer warranty (typically 4-6 years or 150,000 km). For used vehicles, we provide a 6-month warranty covering engine and gearbox. Manufacturing defects are repaired or replaced free of charge.
Yes. We supply OEM and aftermarket spare parts at 15-20% below dealer prices. Parts can be shipped with your vehicle or separately via DHL/FEDEX. Popular parts are in stock; specialty parts take 5-10 days to source.
Marine insurance covers shipping damage. Take photos immediately upon delivery and report any damage within 48 hours. We will guide you through the insurance claim process and arrange repairs or replacement.
EV
Yes. We export BYD, Tesla, NIO, XPeng, Li Auto, and other Chinese EV brands. EVs require special handling for battery transport (UN38.3 certification, state-of-charge below 30%). Container shipping is recommended for EVs.
Most Chinese EVs support both AC (Type 2) and DC (CCS2/CHAdeMO) charging standards used globally. We provide the correct charging adapter for your destination country. Check with our team for model-specific compatibility.
